Sorry for the silence of late people. Uni work as you know. But soon the plus XP team will be back and with a new site to boot.
In the mean time between bouts of work and what have you I have been playing my Xbox. One of the things i cannot stop doing on account of my uni work.
Scanning the Xbox dashboard on live today and I stumbled across something which I thought was just a joke at first, but turns out this game will b coming out and it just leaves me the question of Why?
I a ofcoarse talking about Lego rock band. For those of yo who have just heard it here at plus xp first I’m gonna repeat it again just to make sure it sinks in. LEGO…..ROCK BAND.
Now don’t get me wrong I am a fan of Lego have been since i was a kid. I played the Lego bat man demo and thought i was really well made and a joy to play. (haven’t played Indiana Jones or the star wars saga yet but i plan to play star wars at some point) But for Lego to take on a perfectly good music game such as rock band? I can smell disaster!
Yes you will in-fact play as a blocky rendered character. And no that isn't due to bad graphics
I can just imagine it. Lego bricks flying towards you while you play the songs. Oh and what songs have been confirmed? I bet your itching to know (even one of them isn’t half bad)

- Boys And Girls – Good Charlotte
- So What – Pink
OK i take it back. The final count down and song 2 might be quite funny. But I’m not sure I’m gonna like the idea of Lego versions of myself playing these songs in front of 10000000′s of Lego fans, while you play the gig in a stadium made of Lego bricks with your Lego instruments.
Lets just hope to god they don’t bring out Lego peripherals for this game. Expect this gem ofa game this summer.
