As Garv has already said, the other day I was lucky enough to get my hands on a PS3 – now I did intend to get one eventually, for the exclusives, yet this one just sort of fell into my lap for a good deal. This is very good news for me, and also good news for PlusXP – seeing as we now have access to all three current-gen consoles.
At the moment I have three games in my collection – Metal Gear Solid 4, which I have already completed once before, LittleBigPlanet, a game with a ton of replay value, and Heavenly Sword, a title I’ve longed for for quite some time, yet never had access to. Now, I’ve mainly been focusing on LBP at the moment, although I did restart MGS4 last night. Heavenly Sword will wait, it cant be bad to have another title to play if I get bored.
As you may have noticed – all three are PS3 exclusives. As much as I’m liking the PS3 after a little bit of use, I find a lot of the social side of gaming is now tied to the 360 – although a PS2 fan last gen, I think things are too tied to 360 for me to be ‘converted’ as such. But I’m definitely glad that I’ll be able to get my mitts on the new titles for some of the Playstation series’ I love – Final Fantasy XIII Versus, and God of War III to take the biggest two I can currently think of.
I’ve been rather busy the last few weeks due to uni commitments, but this week I finally finish my course. So, its looking to a bright future for my PlusXP bloggings.
