Trying to get into the video games world is a tricky task. Trickier then say Ikaruga or World at War on Veteran.
Specifically, gaming journalism it seems is the first ideal foot in the doorway for any other job in the gaming industry. This makes gaming journalism extremely competitive and career possibilities few and far among.
About a year ago a thought ran across my mind-
Hmm I want to make money, BUT I want to play video games while making ‘said’ money.
HMMMMM, how could I use my qualifications in video production along with my love for gaming.
HMMMMMMMM, I like pizza.
Rich Gallup sprang to mind. Dude made videos on video games and hosted his own show on Gamespot. I now had a new goal in life. And an order from Pizza Hut on the way.
One year and many independent made videos later I was offered a role to host a new video show to promote Tecmo Koei games. And here it is. My size 11′s all inside that doorway budging for more room. Finally.
I’ve still got a long way to go though, this is only like World at War on Hardcore or rather then Ikaruga its more like Sol Feace, lol. But yeah, wish me luck.
