Most people out there see me as a gamer geek, it’s not surprising really as I run a video game review site. However there is another side to my geeky nature and that’s my love for anime, or Japanimation as I like to call it. So when Tecmo Koei and Namco Bandai posted Plus XP a copy of Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 to review, you could probably imagine my excitement
When you hear the word Troy, what do you think of? History’s first case of a bait and switch? The average movie version with Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom playing themselves? Well, now you can think of the awesome new hack and slash game brought to us from the makers of the Dynasty Warriors series, Tecmo Koei. These games are classic for releasing some rage and more importantly a great genre to mix up some button combinations giving you a good variety of ways to attack your enemy. I have always been a manga fan and in recent times, video games of manga series haven’t really gone that well in my opinion, except for maybe pokemon but that’s the only exception. But in [...]
It is very simple to compare a game like Nintey Nine Nights to the Dynasty Warriors games both the games have the same sort of game play and mission based system. The idea behind these games is to take down armies of soldiers and complete objectives to win a war against your foes. So as you can imagine with these type of games you get a stupid amount of soldiers coming towards you and you have to fight them all [...]
