The last couple of years have seen a big comeback for the fighting game genre – with Super Street Fighter IV and Mortal Kombat 9 bringing the 2D fighter genre kicking and screaming into the current decade, made to shine with updated visuals and tighter controls than ever before. Ever since I first started playing Street Fighter IV the game has been going from strength to strength.
